The customer’s request was to transport a 30-ton crane with a 14-meter boom from Bandar Abbas to Ashgabat, including customs clearance and transit operations. Although they requested a direct shipment, our transit team at Ipak Tarabar, considering the high costs and limited access of Iranian fleets in Turkmenistan, proposed a more cost-effective transshipment operation at the Lotfabad border. This allowed the crane to reach its destination at the lowest possible price.
